NEW DELHI: Consumer durable company LG Electronics has rolled out the ‘Lead XI' campaign for ICC World Twenty20 that will be played in England this June.

Under the campaign, the company has commenced the ‘Indian future star’ contest globally, which will terminate on 3 May.

Says LG India director-marketing V Ramachandran, “Through this contest, LG is looking for 15 children who will lead the Indian cricket stars to the cricket ground in England and have the opportunity to be present for the National Anthem at ICC World Twenty20.”

To participate in the contest, kids have to upload a 30- second video clip demonstrating their talent on the LG India website, www.lgindia.com. A panel of independent judges selected by LG will judge the entries and select the winners.

LG will also send one parent/guardian along with each winning kid to England.
