India bags creative duties of Panasonic Viera and Lumix

DELHI: IBD India, a Percept-Hakuhodo company, has won the
creative duties of Viera and Lumix brands from Panasonic.
The
account size is estimated to be around Rs 250 million.
Says
IBD India managing dirctor Rahul Gupta, "It is a wonderful
opportunity to work with a global giant like Panasonic. Even
more thrilling is the fact that India will be the regional
hub for developing strategy on both brands. We demonstrated
a deep understanding of the Panasonic brand and worked out
strategy based on fresh consumer insights. Our work on the
brand will move beyond advertising into innovative brand-building
activities."
The
consumer electronics company is planning an aggressive marketing
campaign in India for its brands Viera in the LCD and Plasma
TV category and Lumix in the digital camera category.
The campaign for the brands will be launched in the coming
festive season.
