Kurkure launches Kareena Kapoor campaign for 'Desi Beats' snack

BANGALORE: PepsiCo India Holdings (Frito-Lay Divison) snack brand Kurkure today announced the launch of a new communication campaign for its new age snack 'Desi Beats' with Bollywood diva and brand ambassador Kareena Kapoor.

As part of the campaign, Kapoor stars in a new television commercial which will go on air this month. Kurkure Desi Beats has been launched a couple of months back in 2 flavors: Deewana Tamatar and Dildaar Masala.

As the brand ambassador, Kareena plays a key role in this television commercial that tells the famous fairy tale of Cinderella with a humorous desi twist. Kapoor portrays the character of a desi Cinderella who is confident and unabashedly proud of her desi roots. The commercial has been directed by Nihkhil Advani.

In addition to being a part of the television commercial, Kapoor will also be involved in other promotional activities for the newly launched snack 'Desi Beats'. The new commercial will be aired across all major television channels. The promotion will also include radio, outdoor promotion and on-ground activities.
