As part of the
deal, NDTV Media will take care of the sales and marketing
of Just TV Punjabi in India, says a source in Channel Guide.
Attempts
to contact NDTV Media CEO Raj Nayak proved futile till the
filing of this report.

Media has struck similiar exclusive ad sales deals with Marathi
channel Mi Marathi and Sahara One's bouquet of entertainment
channels including Hindi general entertainment channel Sahara
One, Hindi movie channel Filmy and the newly launched Hindi
world television channel Firangi.
NDTV
Media is also the exclusive sales and marketing representative for MSN in India
and for MDAS and is responsible for all revenue generating efforts for the MSN
offerings and for the online and mobile verticals under MDAS. Channel
Guide is planning to launch Just TV Punjabi on 16 June. In
the first phase, Channel Guide will be launching in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh,
Himachal Pradesh and parts of Delhi. Just TV Punjabi will be available on cable
and are currently in talks with direct-to-home (DTH) operators to make it available
on the platform. |
