MUMBAI: Zee Sports has appointed Rahul Khanna as senior vice president-sales. In his new post, he will primarily be looking after the sponsorship sales for Indian Cricket League (ICL) and other sports properties and events.

Zee Sports business head Himanshu Mody said, "Rahul brings with him not only a vast years of experience in consumer marketing and sales, but more importantly a mindset that looks at sports as a platform to build brands and gain desired impact in the minds of consumers. We are extremely happy to have him on board."

Rahul started his career with GTL as relationship manager and later worked for companies like, Vodafone and Tata handling direct and corporate sales.
