Asia Pacific Media Forum 2008 kicks off in Bali on 4 June

MUMBAI: The Asia Pacific Media Forum (APMF) 2008 will take place in Bali, Indonesia, from 4-7 June.

With a view to transforming, the APMF, in its third edition, will round up world-class speakers and participants from all over the world to exchange views and discuss the challenges of "The New Avatar of Media."

As APMF 2008 chairman, Andi Sadha says, "This year's APMF will feature exciting speakers from different fields, with a lot of new case studies that will surely open people's minds about media and how to use it more effectively."

AirAsia group CEO Tony Fernandez will open the forum by discussing the success of AirAsia in reshaping the airline industry, under the topic of "Transforming the Way People Fly."

Among others, speakers include luminaries like Gavin Mehrotra, international media director, the Coca-Cola Company; Vishnu Mohan, Asia Pacific CEO, MPG; Tim Balbirnie, CEO South Asia, Synovate; Prashun Dutt, director-consultant: marketing, strategy & communications for UTUSAN Newspapers and Magazines and The Sun (Nexnews); Ian Stewart, SVP, MTV Networks Asia; Debby Sadrach, home & personal care director, Unilever Indonesia; Barney Loehnis, Asia Pacific director, Isobar; and Mark Holden, MD, PHD Australia.
