Speaking
on the occasion, Gillette marketing manager Sumeet Narang
shared with the audience Gillette's evolution from King C
Gillette's invention of safety razor in 1901 to its present
form.
"We
have always been ahead of our times in harnessing cutting-edge
technology to deliver the most comfortable shaving experience.
The Mach 3 Turbo razor incorporates breakthrough technologies
and operates under as many as 35 patents. We know that this
razor provides the most comfortable shave ever and we want
more and more men to find it out for themselves. We hope they
accept the Mach 3 Turbo Comfort challenge thrown by Rahul
Dravid," said Narang.
Commenting
on the evening and his association with Gillette, Dravid said,
"When Gillette included me in their elite league of global
athletes - Gillette Winners - that included legends like Thierry
Henry, Roger Federer and Tiger Woods - I was of course honoured.
I was also delighted that I was the face of a company that
has made my morning shave a pleasurable and more comfortable
experience for the last so many years. I hope many men will
accept the Mach 3 Turbo Comfort Challenge and experience this
for themselves."
