MUMBAI:
Vyas Giannetti Creative (VGC) has announced its new national
executive. Following the exit of its COO, Atul Hegde, VGC
has promoted Anjan Roy into the role of COO.
Roy
was earlier operating as the North operations head and was
responsible for the agency's growth in the Delhi NCR region
since 2005.
VGC
chairperson and chief creative officer Preeti Vyas Giannetti
said, " Roy, currently president and heading the Delhi
office of VGC, steps into Hegde's shoes as COO. Roy has been
with VGC for over three years and has been responsible of
the immensely successful Delhi office of VGC which he nurtured
from a startup".
Speaking
about the developments, Roy said, "Over the last few
years VGC has established itself as a specialist communications
agency beyond a creative boutique. The confidence of building
a North India operation with 35 people and going from zero
to US$ 8 million in billings in 3 years has been a good start.
The next steps are to push quality and exploit inherent talent
for areas beyond traditional advertising."
