MUMBAI: Publicis Ambience has roped in Kaustav Das as executive vice president South. In his new capacity, Das will be responsible for launching the Publicis Ambience Bangalore office.

Prior to this appointment, Das was with Orchard India as managing director.

Kaustav says, “The Publicis Philosophy of contagious communication is so potent that it can actually shape the direction that media neutral communication will take in future across the world. I am delighted to be the newest evangelist of this philosophy and feel privileged to be given the opportunity of working with one of the finest teams in the business.”

Kaustav began his career in 1992 at Sobhagya Calcutta, moving on to Sistas Calcutta. He then shifted to O&M Bangalore where he handled the UB Ltd. beer portfolio. His next stint was at Lowe (then Lintas India) where he headed the Hindustan Lever Foods Portfolio.

Also, after two short stints at Mudra Chennai and RK Swamy/BBDO, Kaustav headed EuroRSCG Chennai for around two years before taking over as VP South, TBWA\India.
