Hari,
who comes to Microsoft with over 7 years of experience in
consumer marketing, strategic planning, product line and brand
launches, began her career in strategic marketing at Schlumberger
and Cisco Systems in the US. Most recently, she headed brand
and B2B marketing for Google South Asia.
Commenting
on the new hire, Bindra said, "We see a significant growth
of Internet users and time spent by the user online today.
MSN India and Windows Live will bring a lot more for consumers
in the next few months and this appointment is a part of our
efforts to strengthen these initiatives in India."
