Samsung launches new range of SlimFit TVs

MUMBAI: Samsung India has launched new Ultra SlimFit and flat TV models in the Indian market. Three Ultra SlimFit models (21A730/29A730/21A530) and two flat TV models (21A330/29A330) constitute the new flat TV lineup that has been introduced in the Indian market to strengthen Samsung's position as the largest SlimFit TV provider in the country.

"The new Ultra Slimfit models from Samsung are differentiated on account of their innovative design as well as enhanced sound and picture performance," states Samsung India Electronics deputy MD R Zutshi.

The Samsung Ultra SlimFit 21A730 and 29A730 are sleek and have piano glossy black cabinets. They are 40 per cent slimmer than conventional flat TVs. Equipped with Samsung's patented Digital Natural Image Engine (DNIE) technology for enhanced image quality, the new Ultra SlimFit 730 and 530 series from Samsung come with a five and a three band graphic equalizer, turbo sound, game mode and DVD input.

While the 29A730 offers a sound output of 350 watts, the 21A730 offers a sound output of 300 Watts and 21A530 a sound output of 250 Watt PMPO. The 21A530, 21A730 and 29A730 are priced at Rs 8,900, Rs 11,000 and Rs 19,500, respectively.

Along with its Ultra SlimFit TV range, Samsung has also launched two new flat TVs 21A330 and 29A330 with same advance features like DNIE. These TVs come with advanced features such as DNIE 400 Watt PMPO sound output, etc.

The 21A330 and 29A330 models are priced at Rs 9,500 and Rs 16,000, respectively.

"We expect to take our flat TV market share to 25 per cent this year," added Zutshi.
