MUMBAI: The Network 18 Group has launched its new campaign for Budget 2008. Developed by the group's creative wing The Cell, this new campaign makes "Unfinished Agenda" its punch line, highlighting the fact that in spite of the boom in Indian economy, in every sector there are some unfinished agendas that need attention.

In addition to being used as an editorial budget campaign on the group's news channels, it will run across print media.

Network 18 Group's network creative director Zubin Driver says, "We were looking for a symbolic method to represent the present state of Indian economy. Indian economy is booming, but unfortunately this not a holistic boom. For example, although the airline and infrastructure sectors are growing by leaps and bounds, there are spheres within them that need improvement."

The campaign uses visuals of iconic Indian monuments and locations like the Taj Mahal and India Gate, where a portion of the structure is missing, symbolising the unfinished state of Indian economy. The visuals convey the message about the growth and development promises that Indians expect from the financial policies, many of which are yet to be fulfilled across all sectors.
