i-mint partners with hospitality and restaurant chain Nandhini Deluxe

BANGALORE: Multi partner consumer rewards programme i-mint on Friday announced a tie up with Karnataka-based Andhra cuisine specialty and hospitality chain Nandhini Deluxe in Bangalore. The Nandhini- i-mint association was launched by India’s cricketer Mohamed Kaif.

Says i-mint founder and CEO Vijay Bobba, "Eighty per cent of profits of companies come from 20 per cent of customers. We will help businesses identify these 20 per cent.” Bobba revealed that the all India i-mint membership was six million, of which 800,000 to 900,000 was from Karnataka.

i-mint has tied up with 2500 partners across 32 cities. Bobba hopes to grow the i-mint membership to 8 million with 4000 partnerships by the end of this fiscal and 40-50 million over the next four to five years.

Says Nandhini CMD N Ananda, “We want to enhance our existing brand and cash in on benefits loyalty with the i-mint rewards programme.”

Adds Nandhini partner Rupesh, “i-mint’s vast network will give us access to a massive customer base, besides offering our customers fabulous benefits. Members can earn 10 i-mint points for every Rs 100 spent in Nandhini restaurant in Bangalore.”

Nandhini has 12 restaurants including six value hotel–cum–restaurants. The chain’s hospitality segment has 320 rooms. The chain has been on an expansion spree and has launched 4 to 5 restaurants and hotels during the last 30 months. It spends around Rs 4-5 million annually on print advertisements and closed revenues at Rs 220 million last year.
