MUMBAI: Hyderabad Big FM is ready to launch the Big Ice cream marathon contest, which will kick off on 29 April and run throughout May.

The contest is being held to search and recognise the "cool and brainy listeners".

Through this contest listeners will get to win 100 litres of ice cream every hour at the stations’ popular show Big Sandadi, hosted by RJ Shekar.

One lucky winner will win a refrigerator full of ice-cream in each hour of the breakfast show.

Big FM Hyderabad station director Ashwin Padmanabhan said, “With the temperature soaring high this summer, BIG 92.7 FM’s ‘BIG Ice cream Marathon’ will surely prove to be a hit since the contest is not just about fun and games for the callers, but also a method to ensure the means of finding solutions to beat the heat with us.”

Big FM will also take the contest on the streets where its RJ Shekar will invite the listeners to participate in the big cool brain challenge.

The contestant who eats the maximum ice-cream in three minutes will take home 92.7 litres of ice-cream.
