Red FM Mumbai partners with IPL's Mumbai Indians

MUMBAI: Red FM Mumbai has tied up with Mumbai Indians, the DLF Indian Premiere League team owned by Reliance Industries.

Red FM will support the home team and enable Mumbaiites to get familiar with the Mumbai Indians.

Indiawin Sports director Kaushik Roy said, "We feel that the people of Mumbai have the spirit to bring in the excitement and energy into the game. That's why they are called the Mumbai Indian Paltan - people who can single handedly make the Mumbai Indians win every Match. With the innovative ideas from Red FM, we are convinced that the Mumbai Indians will have a huge fan following right through the tournament."

Red FM national marketing head and Mumbai station head Anuj Singh said, "Red FM represents all that is Mumbai and when it comes to supporting the home team the Mumbai Indians we will leave no stones unturned! Red FM's brand proposition stands on four pillars of programming, one of which is Cricket. Through our partnership with the Mumbai Indians we strengthen our brand promise of providing interesting and innovative content to our listeners."

Over the next few days, Red FM will help Mumbaikars get to know their team through Red FM - Yeh Kis Khet Ki Mooli hai, wherein each Mumbai Indian will be introduced in the context of where he's from, what are his special skills, how he feels about being a Mumbai Indian and so on. The station will also help the team recruit the support group - the Mumbai Indians Paltan.

Red FM RJs will be chatting with the players like Sachin Tendulkar and Harbhajan Singh. Listeners will get the chance to reach out to the Mumbai Indians on the Red Mike and win merchandise.

Red FM will also hold a contest called 'Red FM Sab ke Sab PL,' where 10 lucky Red FM listeners will be given a chance to watch the Mumbai Indians in action along with the Red FM crew.
