MUMBAI: Radio Mirchi wakes up to mother's call. Radio Mirchi Mumbai and Hyderabad will celebrate mother's day in their own styles on 12 May.

The Mirchi Mother's Day Special at Mumbai will air celebrities like Shilpa Shetty, Shiney Ahuja, Irfan Khan, Udit Narayan, Shabana Azmi, Dia Mirza,Tusshar Kapoor, Manoj Bajpai and the likes confessing their naughty deeds to their mothers.

Radio Mirchi, Hyderabad will celebrate Mother's day with expecting mothers of the city with a day long exclusive programme, Taaza Mums of the Day.

Listeners will be given a chance to be part of the celebration by writing new modern dialogues for celebrity mothers and posting a message on-air to actresses who play mothers.

Radio Mirchi RJ's will also descend on the streets of Mumbai and will give special gifts to listeners who are spotted with their mothers. Radio Mirchi's Bumper to Bumper show will have special contests on how well do you know your favourite star's Mom while the program - Just being Cyrus will feature a Mother's Day special.

While at Hyderabad the expecting mothers call the shots, Radio Mirchi will provide them an opportunity to share the first ever special moments with their bundle of joy, on air. Three generations of mothers will be put on air. Listeners calling in to participate will be given away couple of movie tickets for the mother and child duo.

Radio Mirchi will share this joy with the rest of Hyderabad by announcing the "Good News" on air. The Mirchi team will also pay a visit to the hospitals in Hyderabad to meet the Taaza Moms and spread cheer by giving them goodies and a certificate from Radio Mirchi entitling them of Mirchi Taaza Mum.

The near and dear ones of the mom-to-be can register the names of expecting mothers through SMS Radio New mom to 8888. The registration process is on from 9th to 10th May.
