Radio Mirchi, Big FM celebrate Holi in style

MUMBAI/BANGALORE: Festivals are a big event today for anyone and anything that wants attention and visibility. Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Bangalore and Big FM plan to make this year's Holi a colourful event to remember.

Mirchi celebrates the festival of spring, making it memorable one for seven lucky winners and their families by showering them with flowers from a helicopter, no make that two helicopters, of all the things.

One winner was selected daily from all the shows for a week The rumor buzz has it that a lucky winner from the seven could end up with a joy ride in the whirly bird to boot.

Big FM has some big plans too.On the Anirudh LLB, show which focuses on Love, Ladkiyan & Bollywood, one single woman who manages to impress the RJ Anirudh the most stands to win a chance get her house painted….for free!! In addition to this, some lucky listeners will get their 'Hasya Kavita's' to be played on-air!

Traditional Holi fare of color and food and …. is also on the cards for the winners and their families tomorrow (March 3, 2007) at a resort near Bangalore on Mirchi.

Big FM ropes in its celebrity guests who will be share their HOLI plans, berserk incidents, funny anecdotes and their best Holi moments with all the listeners of BIG FM…There will be special contests running on-air on their shows and listeners get a chance to win gifts.

In Mumbai, BIG FM will celebrate the 'Good over Evil' day, with listeners discussing how to overcome a personal evil and bring in goodness in to their life.

Their line-up of celebrity guests include Milind Soman, Perizaad Zorabian, Manoj Bajpai, Shibani Kashyap and Ravi Kishen will also be coming to play Holi on their shows like BIG Chai, Episode 927and Chal Kalti Maar with popular RJ's Vrajesh & Archana, Anirudh of 'Anirudh LLB' fame, Rohit & Sujatha.

In Delhi, as has been reported on earlier, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM, Delh plans to have some of their listeners play Holi with the 'Mirchi ka toli' or a team comprising of all their top RJ's there.

Big FM brings in their own 'BIG Holi Ki Toli'- RJ's who will be visiting key locations of the cities of Delhi & Mumbai. They will interact and play Holi with the people on the streets and residential colonies.

BIG FM RJ's like Ayushman & Gaurav will be visiting HDFC Bank House in Gurgaon, Udayan Care, an NGO working for the disadvantaged children and women and also with the residents of Delhi.
