TBWA announces a host of senior management changes

MUMBAI: TBWA Worldwide CEO Jean-Marie Dru, has announced a slew of senior management promotions.

Currently vice-chairman, Tom Carroll will be promoted to the position of president. In his new role, Carroll will retain his global client responsibilities, and will also work closely with Dru and Jonathan Ramsden, chief financial officer, on the worldwide management of the network, informs an official release.

In connection with this change, Robert LePlae's responsibilities as president - North America will expand to include all operations in the region that had previously reported to Carroll.

Keith Smith, currently regional president for Asia/Pacific, will be promoted to the new position of president - International, in which role he will oversee the network's Europe, Asia/Pacific and Africa/Middle East operations. Smith will continue to be based in Hong Kong.

Jeremy Pagden, current president and CEO of Tequila\ Worldwide, becomes president-marketing services, responsible for specialized companies such as Integer, Tequila\, and Agency.com, adds the release.

"These promotions put in place a very solid management organization for the future of TBWA, and give us the opportunity to recognize individuals who have played key roles in TBWA's success in the past few years," said Dru.

Chairman and chief creative officer Lee Clow added, "Jean-Marie has identified the strongest and most passionate group of leaders around the world. I believe, under their leadership, TBWA is perfectly positioned to continue to build up on the outstanding success we have had as a network."
