HLL plans cricket-based campaign for Pepsodent

MUMBAI: Young school kids will be presented an opportunity to wear their cricketing gear, play a match captained by a 'great all rounder and master leg spinner' from the ICC Champions Trophy team as a part of the Pepsodent Brush Karo-Cricket Khelo Promo.

The matched will be kicked off in six major metros from 8-15 November 2006.

More than 70 kids all over the country would be chosen for the Pepsodent Brush Karo-Cricket Khelo Promo to be played in - Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore, informs an official release.

HLL Oral Care marketing manager Rudratej Singh said that the current promotion would build a unique emotional consumer connect with the Pepsodent Toothbrush Brand and help young kids to realise their dreams.

"Pepsodent Toothbrushes have always been an approachable brand and this activity is another endeavor to encourage proper oral hygiene giving a chance to the kids to choose from a wide range of brushes which are specially designed for Oral care needs. Cricket Promo is the perfect platform due to its massive reach & influence amongst children," he says.

Elucidating the promotion in greater detail, Rudratej Singh informs, "On the purchase of two toothbrushes young consumers will get an entry coupon from the Super Value Stores and Unicare stores that would qualify them to participate in this exciting activity."

The lucky winners could be anywhere from India and would be invited from their respective centers to participate in the match, the release adds.
