Cafe Coffee Day tunes in to WorldSpace Radio

MUMBAI: WorldSpace Satellite Radio has entered into an alliance with Café Coffee Day, wherein the former's satellite radio content will be played throughout the day for patrons at 100 cafes across India.

 
 
The year-long alliance includes the installation of WorldSpace receivers in 100 Cafe Coffee Day outlets across India. In the first phase, Café Coffee Day outlets in Cochin, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Hyderabad will be outfitted with the equipment to relay music.

The WorldSpace - Café Coffee Day alliance gives coffee lovers an opportunity to listen to different genres of music offered on the WorldSpace Satellite Radio network while enjoying the café atmosphere.

 
 

More than 40 stations will be on offer in participating cafes - from Spin, an international Pop and Rock station; UpCountry, the country music station; to Jhankaar and Farishta, the 24-hour Hindi music stations.
