MUMBAI: Jasubhai Digital Media (JDM) has named L Subramanyan as the chief executive officer with immediate effect.

L Subramanyan has served with the group since February 2005 as president and publishing director, where he was looking after a range of general management, operations and sales and marketing issues.

In an official statement issued, prior to his current responsibilities, he was the head marketing & strategy at Zensar Technologies Limited, based out of Pune in India.

Subramanyan's responsibilities included responsibility for global marketing requirements of Zensar, stakeholder for the strategy function, designated key account management and direct sales responsibilities for Continental Europe.

He has also been the chief editor of Dataquest and its associated publications group for over 10 years.

JDM managing director and publishers Maulik Jasubhai said that JDM's board unanimously selected Subramanyan based on contribution made to JDM, as well as his strong executive and personal qualities.
