Hanmer & Partners makes senior appointment for the North, East

MUMBAI: Public Relations (PR) firm Hanmer & Partners has appointed Amit Misra as the VP for their businesses in North and East
 
 
The announcement comes close on the heels of its acquisition of the SpiceJet account in New Delhi and former Tata Group veteran Ravi Dubey’s coming on board as an advisor.
 
 

The firm has stated that it is now reinforcing it’s cadres to offer national clients with enhanced servicing quality and greater domain depth, nationally. Misra will also be responsible for piloting Hanmer Reach, the up country public relations outfit of Hanmer & Partners based out of Agra.

Hanmer & Partners MD Sunil Gautam said, “It’s a shot in the arm for us to have Amit on board. He brings on board a solid combination of cross functional skills across dynamic industries with a deep understanding of the communications business. His appointment reflects our commitment to deliver our best talent and ideas to help our clients succeed in meeting their communication objectives."

 
 

Amit has moved from the Essar Group in Mumbai where he was heading Corporate Affairs and Communications for Essar Telecom over the past two years and more recently was aiding Ms. Smiti Ruia in kick starting operations for the new media venture of Essar, Paprika Media. Amit handled multi functional responsibilities at Paprika Media, which successfully launched the global city publication Time Out in Mumbai.

Misra has over 12 years of all round exposure in marketing, business development and corporate communications. His previous assignments include JobsAhead.com VP– strategic alliances and communications , which was acquired last year by Monster.com and Deputy GM– marketing communications at Essar Cellphone, New Delhi.
