OMS' Srikant Raman joins GroupM as CCG director

MUMBAI: Srikant Raman, an old hand in the advertising and media business who is with OMS, Mumbai is all set to join GroupM's Consumer Connect Group as director, CCG, Mumbai this week.

Commenting on the appointment GroupM Director- strategic planning and training Rema Harish says, "We are happy to have Srikant on board of our CCG team in GroupM. We are sure that with his vast experience in communications planning across such a variety of product and consumer categories, he will be a key contributor to our strategic planning function."

Raman was business director in OMS, Mumbai from mid 2004. In OMS, he was overseeing the media operations for Reliance Businesses, HPCL, LIC, Air India and Zenith computers.

Prior to that he has been a key member of the IOC AOR at Starcom and the Asian Paints media business at Carat. Raman has worked in the advertising and media industry for over 13 years.

After his Masters in Management Studies from Mumbai University, Raman joined Enterprise Nexus Equity where he worked for 4 years. Subsequently he has been with Mudra, Carat and Starcom before joining OMS.
