Nina Jaipuria replaces Tushar Shah as SET marketing head

MUMBAI: In a quick reshuffle of portfolios following the exit of Tushar Shah, Sony Entertainment TV India has made Nina Jaipuria vice-president marketing of the network's flagship channel SET.

Jaipuria is presently head of marketing for Sony's recent acquisition Sab TV. Confirmation of Jaipuria's elevation as SET marketing head was provided to by reliable industry sources. No decision had as yet been made on who would be heading marketing at Sab TV, the sources said.


As first reported by, Shah, who was SET India vice-president marketing and communications, is joining Disney India in July as director marketing.

It was only last month that Jaipuria was promoted to V-P heading Sab TV's marketing from assistant vice president marketing SET.



Jaipuria, who joined Sony in 2003, has a strong FMCG marketing background, having worked earlier with BPL Mobile and Colgate.
