MUMBAI: Asia's largest IT services company TCS and world authority on creative thinking Dr Edward de Bono's company de Bono Thinking Systems have formed a unique partnership which will offer solutions to organizations to aid business transformation.

TCS has also registered another global first by developing 'de Bono Thinking 24x7 (dBT 24x7) - a digital version of de Bono's Six Thinking Hats and Lateral Thinking techniques.

TCS owns the intellectual property rights (IPR) for the software dBT 24x7, developed by its creativity and innovation lab. The software will be distributed across the world through a dBTS network which supports over 900 certified de Bono instructors.

In India the companies that have used these techniques include Hero Honda, Danfoss, Samsung, Zee Telefilms, Eicher Motors, ION Exchange and Tata Motors.

"Nothing is more important than human thinking. We have done very little about thinking for the last 24 centuries. I have developed tools for human thinking and am now working with TCS to turn these into usable digitized versions that can be utilized by all organizations across the globe," said Dr. Edward de Bono.

CEO and managing director TCS, S. Ramadorai said, " Dr. Bono's world class thinking techniques have been digitized by TCS to help organizations harness the creative potential of their associates. And with the effective distribution network of de Bono Thinking Systems and TCS' wide market reach, we expect the solution to have significant traction in the global market."
