'Mid Day' registers 20% growth: Audit Bureau of Circulation

MUMBAI: Mid Day has recorded an almost 20 per cent growth in its circulation of 159,239 copies in the six-month period beginning January 2005 as compared to 133,562 in the same period last year, the company said quoting the Audit Bureau of Circulation report.

 

Mid Day has attributed this growth to its content, distribution and marketing fronts over the last one year. New section launches such as HitList, the daily entertainment paper, and a Bollywood contest featuring Arshad Warsi were the other factors which led to this growth, Mid Day says in a release.

 

 

The tabloid has also revamped its classified, jobs and real estate sections.

 

 

More recently Mid Day launched a lifestyle section called Your Life focusing on tips on fashion, health, homes, relationships, food etc and has extended its popular jobs section, The Big Break, to twice a week.
