Fame Cinemas lines up contest around 'Waqt'

MUMBAI: Shringar Cinemas' multiplex Fame has taken movie marketing one step further by tying up with actor Akshay Kumar and director Vipul Shah for the soon to released movie Waqt.

Fame will offer patrons a bike ride with Kumar through the contest - 'Waqt: Dad and I with Akshay.'

 
 
Besides the bike ride with Kumar, 'Waqt: Dad & I with Akshay' contest, starting 15 April will also offer patrons movie tickets, merchandise, outfits, autographed CDs and brochures of Waqt.
 
 
Shringar Cinemas Ltd chief marketing officer Arun Mehra said, "Promoting a movie today is nothing less than a brand. With Waqt, we have gone a step further by marketing the movie based on the movie's theme – the relationship between the father and his son. This contest will also offer our patrons free tickets to watch the movie Waqt with their father or sons."
 
 
In the past, Fame, through its various marketing initiatives for movies like Hum Tum, Dhoom, Veer Zaara , Kutch Meetha Ho Jaye, etc, have set the trend to innovative movie marketing.

Patrons can enter the 'Waqt: Dad & I with Akshay' contest by filling the contest forms available the Fame Adlabs and Fame Malad in Mumbai or through SMS on 3263 or by logging on to website www.famecinemas.com.
