Etc to launch contest for SMS-based show

MUMBAI: Music channel etc has announced that its interactive show SMS Show My Song 7575 will have Amit Khanna as its new host.

The broadcaster claims that the show regularly features in the top 25 shows among the music channels. Since the show receives whacky and interesting requests the broadcaster has decided to reward the requests with a contest.

Viewers need to type “ETC SMS”, leave a space and type their request and send it to the number 7575. The most interesting and witty request / statement will stand to win one ‘Foce’ designer watch everyday.

Viewers can send SMS requests any time. The next day they will get to see their statement along with the requested song. Aaj Bhejo Kal Dekho is the mantra of the show, which runs everyday at 8.30 pm from Monday to Friday.

Amit Khanna also co-hosts Home Theatre with Pracchi Mehta. In the past he has done ads for Idea Cellular, Britannia Chutney Bread, Castrol among others.
