MUMBAI: Telecom major Idea and Dr Prannoy Roy's NDTV have teamed up in launching the first of its kind interactive service for mobile subscribers.

This service lets Idea subscribers send feedback in their own voices as well as listen to the latest news headlines by dialing 6388 on their mobile phone and say "Feedback" or "News". An official release informs that Idea is the first to launch this service in India in collaboration with NDTV.

NDTV director KVL Narayan Rao said, "We are very happy to provide 6388 on voice service through Idea's interactive voice response platform as we believe this will be a critical step towards mobile-driven interactivity between NDTV and its audience. We look forward to this becoming a universal phenomenon. We are also thankful to Onmobile for their excellent support for our endeavour."
