Unique alcoholic beverage Jaguar launched in Bangalore

MUMBAI: Beer major United Breweries Limited today launched its new offering - Jaguar, which is a radical new cross over product in Karnataka.

Jaguar is the result of UB’s extensive R&D efforts and collaboration between its various offices spread across the globe. According to UB, such a product does not exist anywhere in the world and it is excited about the launch of Jaguar in India.



The positioning of the brand is, 'It's a different animal.' The campaign has striking visuals which create intrigue and interest in the minds of the consumer. The execution of the creative is in line with the brand promise and the haunting ‘cat-like’ eyes beckon the consumer get close to it, informed an official release.



Speaking at the launch UB Ltd assistant vice president, sales and marketing Kiran Kumar said, "We are very excited with the launch of Jaguar. UB’s beer brands are market leaders. With the launch of Jaguar, we will further consolidate our position and create a new untapped consumer base. We are very bullish about our growth prospects and are confident about having another winner in our portfolio."



Jaguar has been launched in Karnataka and will see a phased national roll out. The brand is targeted at a wide spectrum of potential consumers between 18 and 35 years. Jaguar has eight per cent alcohol v/v and will be available in 650 ml and 330 ml bottles, priced at Rs 45 and Rs 22 respectively. The brand is attractively packaged in amber bottles, with eye-catching labels that feature a Jaguar.

With the launch of Jaguar, the company is also creating a completely new ‘winey beer’ category.
