Fiat India launches customer-centric service programme

MUMBAI: Fiat India today announced the launch of VCARE, a customer-centric service programme across India. The company has launched a national Toll Free Helpline number – 1600-22-21-22, which will be accessible through a landline. For 24 hour breakdown assistance, Fiat customers can also reach for assistance by dialing single response number 9622-22-21-22 through their mobiles or landlines.
On dialing, customers will have access to detailed information on every Fiat model, analyses and recommendations, contact details of the nearest dealership and emergency service assistance incase of a breakdown.


Announcing the programme, Fiat India director commercial Ravi Bharadwaj said, "After attaining the number three position in the J D Power Sales Satisfaction survey for the year 2004, Fiat is now consolidating its position in the service area. VCARE is designed keeping the customer in mind and providing him with utmost assistance at all times."

He further added, "In order to be closer to the customers, we have also commissioned AC Nielsen to carry out a detailed research that would focus on the sales and service experience of the customers. The study would help us further improve our current practices."

With the launch of the VCARE programme, Fiat India hopes to set a benchmark in quality of sales and service to all its proud owners.
