Marantz & Boston launch home entertainment products in India

MUMBAI: US based Marantz and Boston acoustics are all set to launch their premium home entertainment products in India

The product range includes home theaters, speakers, projectors, plasma TVs, monitors, DVD players, wall, ceiling and out door speakers, amplifier and car audio systems.



International brands in premium Audio/Video (A/V) products have forayed into the Indian home entertainment market with the announcement of their strategic tie-up with Sharda Pro-Acoustics, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sharda Motor Industries Ltd.

According to the agreement, Sharda Pro-Acoustics will market, service and support the premium range of professional home entertainment A/V solutions and car-audio systems of both Marantz and Boston Acoustics, says a company release.

Sharda Pro-Acoustics has already set up the first of its exclusive showrooms for Marantz and Boston Acoustic?s range of products in New Delhi and plans to open more in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.



According to Sharda Motor Industries, chairman, ND Relan, "We are committed to quality and excellence in all that we do. Our strategic alliance with Marantz and Boston will enable the discerning Indian consumers to enjoy the quality that they have so far been deprived of when it comes to home entertainment products."

The products will be launched in a phased manner through a professionally trained and motivated dealer network across India, supported by flagship stores at select locations.



According to Marantz, marketing head, Asia and Europe, Bert Kiggen, "India is a rapidly evolving market with huge untapped potential. Our association with Sharda Pro-Acoustics will enable us to capitalize the growing market for mid to the higher end AV products."

The products range includes among others - the legendary KI Series amplifiers named after Ken Ishiwata of Marantz and Boston Acoustic?s highly acclaimed AM/FM Receptor Radio, which has been by hailed by The New York Times for it?s 'razor sharp reception' and its wide range of Car Audio Systems, which are a worldwide rage, say the release.
