McDonald's showcases 'The Incredibles' world in the US

MUMBAI: Fast food major McDonald's will once again partner with Disney and Pixar in the US. In the past McDonald's had tied up with films like Finding Nemo and Toy Story 2 through the Happy Meals initiative.

Now Disney and Pizar have released The Incredibles which some critics are calling one of the best films of the year.

McDonald's in the US is once again doing a Happy Meal promotion around the film. With every Happy Meal purchase visitors to McDonalds outlets in the US will receive one of eight action-packed figures based on characters from the film.

One of the toys that visitors will get is Mr. Incredible: The toy features boxing arms which are activated by a lever. In India the film will be released on 17 December.

On the marketing front to create awareness about the initiative there will be television spots featuring original animation from Pixar and Leo Burnett.

McDonald's kids and family marketing director Kathy Pyle added, "McDonald's is thrilled to bring the adventures of this movie to life in an incredible way. Each Incredible Happy Meal figure, mimics the superhero skill of The Incredibles cast, allowing our guests to relive the big screen adventures of these suburban superheroes in their neighborhood McDonald's.
