WIN's Pandey bags excellence in radio jockeying at Suvidha award

MUMBAI: Another 'gaurav' for WIN 94.6. Suvidha Foundation has awarded WIN 94.6's Anurag Pandey excellence in radio jockeying award.

For the second consecutive time, WIN 94.6 has received this award in a ceremony held at Khar Gymkhana, Mumbai, on 21 March.

The sixteen year old Suvidha Foundation had expanded its bouquet of yearly awards to include Radio last year and Malishka from WIN had won the first award


Commenting on Anurag's award, Suvidha Foundation Chairman Shankar Lalwani said, "It has always been our policy to award excellence in all spheres, especially Media. With the popularity of FM radio on a sharp upswing, we decided to introduce an award for this medium last year. Anurag Pandey from WIN 94.6 was a worthy winner, for his ability to play a wide range of characters, as well as his ever increasing fan base. The selection of music played by WIN 94.6 also played a part in deciding the award."

Programming Manager WIN 94.6 Sarina D'mello added, "WIN 94.6 won 4 RAPAs last year. With yet another Suvidha Gaurav award, our programming superiority is now being acknowledged. We're delighted with the award, and will make sure we celebrate appropriately".

Among others awarded were "Showman Producer of 2003," Vashu Bhagnani and 'Star-Material' discovery of 2003, Diana Hayden.
