Equity Marketing's deal with Warner for Scooby-Doo

MUMBAI: Equity Marketing and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have renewed their global licensing agreement for the dog Scooby-Doo.

Under the terms of the multi-year agreement, Equity Marketing will continue to serve as the Scooby-Doo master toy licensee. The Company has been granted distribution rights in the US, Canada and other international regions. Equity Marketing currently designs and produces an assortment of Scooby-Doo action figures, playsets and basic and feature plush, which are sold through mass market and specialty retailers.

The agreement includes a master license from Warner Bros. Consumer Products to design, produce and market toys based on the upcoming film Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. This is the sequel to the film Scooby-Doo, which was released a couple of years ago. The film will be released later this month in the US.
