Adidas launches Indian football team's jersey

MUMBAI: Adidas has launched the Indian football team jersey. It is the first ever Indian team jersey that the company has launched in the country.
 
 

The jersey was launched by Adidas' brand ambassador and Indian football captain Baichung Bhutia. Adidas is the kit sponsor of the Indian football team and also supplies the official matchball for the Indian National Football League.

Bhutia was quoted in an official release saying, "Adidas is a top brand in football and we are delighted that they are supporting the Indian football team. The team jersey designed by Adidas is a technology product with sweat management technology and all of us have benefited from using this product."

The dark and light blue Indian football team jersey is made of Adidas' patented technology Climalite that provides essential moisture management. The breathable fabric wicks moisture away from skin allowing the athletes to stay dry, comfortable and optimizing performance by minimising overheating and energy loss. The jersey costs Rs. 1,490
