13 year old kid wins LA trip courtesy Nick

MUMBAI: Sonal Panda, a13 year old student of the Bombay Scottish School, has been picked up by Nickelodeon as a winner for an all-expense paid trip to Los Angeles to attend its 17th Kids' Choice Awards live.

Sonal wins roundtrip tickets for two which also includes hotel accommodations for four days and three nights. She also wins exclusive invitation to the Welcome Party at Nick Animation Studios, tickets to the Kids' Choice Awards and also for a post show party and gets 500 $ to spend. In addition, she gets a chance to report from the Nick Orange Carpet before the award show, says a press release.

Now on its 17th year , Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards is the only award show that gives kids below 14 years of age, the power to vote for their favourites and honour their choices in a star-studded live show. To be held in Los Angeles on 3 April 2004, this year's event will be shown in India exclusively on Nickelodeon India on 6 June 2004.

Sonal says,"I thought my 13th year was going to be unlucky but it's been my best. I can't wait to see Nick Comedy Queen Amanda Bynes and I really hope to see Tom Cruise slimed this year". Sonal will be accompanied by her mother to the event.
