Oracle selects Starcom for global media assignment

MUMBAI: Computer major Oracle has announced that it has selected the Chicago-headquartered Starcom which is a part of the SMG Media Group and a unit of Publicis, to become its global advertising media agency of record. SMG has operations in Africa, the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe.

The announcement followed a review that was initiated a couple of months ago.


Direct marketing duties will remain with Grey Global Group's GreyDirect. The Oracle assignment will include global media buying and planning, print production and strategic planning.

Oracle global advertising senior director Kate Begonia added that Starcom had shown great work and thinking throughout the review process.
