Speaking to industry sources, the textiles industry has been diminishing
in terms of ad spends for the last couple of years. Apart from India,
no other country advertises suiting material as a stand alone; and
is usually an ad on to branded apparels. A high placed media personality
states,"The market is maturing, and bagging an account like
Digjam makes sense for an agency that is in the process of building
volume rather than what the account is pegged at."
All in all Grey seems to be doing a fair job with their recent
account acquisitions.
