MUMBAI: The Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) is
in for a change at the top.
Come 30 July and Srinivasan K Swamy, RK Swamy/BBDO CEO, takes over
the presidentship of AAAI from Madison Communications CMD Sam Balsara.
Swamy's is the lone name whose nomination has been
forwarded and the AGM, which is scheduled to take place on 30 July
will officially formalise the changeover.
Balsara hands over charge after completing two years as president,
which is the maximum term possible under AAAI rules.
Swamy, who took charge of RK Swamy BBDO in 1994, has played a key
role in the positioning and success of the Chennai based agency.
