'Animation is yet to get out of its kiddie image'- Oshidar

MUMBAI: Ideas and more MTV ishtyle was what MTV networks India vice president and general manager, creative & content, Cyrus Oshidar threw up in his second session of the day.

"A to Z" was basically an extension of his earlier session - "All in the Mix".

 

It began with the audience quizzing Oshidar about animation and its use in promos and advertising. Although Oshidar had quite a few things to say about their effectiveness and popularity, he threw in a reality check stating that animation was yet to come of age in India.

 

An interactive session, it really served as a "promo" advertising MTV's creative brains. Oshidar and his team dissected their successful promos like the Poga, the Liftman, Gaseous Clay and even the chai boy.

The session wouldn't have been complete without digs at rival Channel [V], so it had that and some more.
