MUMBAI: Consumer electronics major LG India has unveiled the latest international range of New Display Products (NDP) in Mumbai. The launch included the range of Xcanvas Plasma TVs, Artvision LCD TVs, DLP & LCD rear projection TVs which will be imported from Korea in the completely built unit (CBU) form.

The launch included the showcasing of LG Artvision LCD Designer TVs. The Artvision range is sleek, compact, long lasting and eco-friendly. The Artvision LCD Television introduces for the first time the concept of 'Any Time TV', where the television can be carried around without any cables because of wireless technology based transmission. The Artvision LCD Designer TV is priced between Rs 40,000 to Rs 200,000.

LG has also tied up with the Taj Group of hotels for interactive TV solutions. The Taj is looking to set benchmarks for 'In-room Infotainment Solution' through the tie up for hardware solutions.

Meanwhile, LG's DLP & LCD Rear Projection TVs work on a digital light engine platform and are much more technologically advanced than the CRT based Analog Projection TVs which are presently available in the market. The DLP & LCD Rear Projection TVs are priced between Rs 200,000 to Rs 300,000.

Towards the continuation of their efforts to offer the most technologically advanced solutions, LG is creating high end audio visual retail chains called the 'Xcanvas Studio'. Each of them will be equipped with the latest range of plasma panels, LCD TVs, LCD and DLP Rear Projection TVs.
