MUMBAI: The Media Edge (TME) head of buying Himani Kapadia has called it quits.

According to information available with indiantelevision.com, Kapadia who reportedly gave in her resignation last week, is not immediately headed anywhere and will be "taking a break" before deciding her next move.

Attempts by indiantelevision.com to elicit a response from TME president Divya Gupta as to who would be replacing Kapadia proved futile. On the other hand, TME vice president Divya Radhakrishnan refused to confirm or deny the development when contacted. Kapadia was also unavailable for comment.

Kapadia, who has a finance background, in addition to her responsibilities as head of buying, was TME's CFO.
