| The AME Grand Award for the Best Not For Profit Campaign
went to Hasan & Partners, of Helsinki, Finland, for their "Recycle"
campaign for Hackman- Littala. The award for Best Special Recognition
was awarded to J. Walter Thompson NY for their "Novell"
campaign. The AME Grand Award for Best Product or Service Campaign
went to The Kaplan Thaler Group in New York for their ongoing "AFLAC"
campaign for the American Family Life Assurance Company of Columbus.
More than 300 campaigns from 27 countries were entered in the 2004
competition. The judging of the AME awards was held in Denmark,
Australia, Germany, Spain, Canada and in the US.
17 Gold Medallions were awarded to campaigns from Brazil, the United
Kingdom, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Korea, Germany and the United States.
