Says Kumar, who joined work today: "It was an
exciting option that came my way. I will be in charge of planning
for all clients and for all media. At TME I looked after just TV.
It's a wider exposure at McCann and a lot more challenging."
Kumar spent more than four years at TME and has had stints with
The Hindu and Pepsi prior to that.
According to media reports, McCann had grown from a Rs 160-million
agency in 1993 to Rs 4.5 billion in 2002.
