Football players follow Pop stars footsteps

MUMBAI: We aren't talking about dare bare or the sing song ventures here. After the pop stars Pink, Beyonce and Britney, its the footballers David Beckham, Roberto Carlos and Ronaldinho pitching in unison to promote the cola giant Pepsi.

 
 

A sequel to the Gladiator will feature the England's football celebrity Beckham as he captains a gladiator line of football hunks including his new teammates Madrid player Carlos and defender Roberto Carlos in gladiator-style dress.

According to media reports the ad is being filmed in a village in the central Spanish province of Soria called Medinaceli. While the 90 second ad that is scheduled to premiered today in UK was reportedly canned in seven-hours. The soccer stars will feature as an 'old world football team'.

Beckham earns around £ two million a year from Pepsi, say the reports.
