MUMBAI: After fairness creams, it's now time for elbow creams. For the first time in India, Nomarks, a pioneer in the category of mark removal creams, has launched an elbow cream called Nomarks Elbow Cream which removes dark and dull rough patches on the elbows.

The cream has active ingredients like aloe, ruscus, lemon peel and bearberry that are effective in removing the dark pigmentation around the elbows.

The Nomarks elbow cream has a unique blend of herbs, which work in a four stage process to remove the dark pigmentation and soften your elbows:

* Moisturising of the skin with the help of aloe which hydrates skin and helps regain its texture and tone, while protecting skin from harmful sunrays;
* Improvement of blood circulation around the elbow area with the help of Ruscus;
* Exfoliation of the skin to clear dead cells with the help of Lemon peel and
* Whitening of the skin through Bearberry (arbutin), which restricts formation of melanin.

The Nomarks elbow cream is targeted at the urban Indian woman and is packed in 25 gm packs, placed in an outer carton with see through windows. The packaging has an international design and feel to it and has been priced at Rs 78. The cream will soon be made available at retail outlets across India, says an official release.

Nomarks is the flagship brand of Ozone Ayurvedics which is a company that has been at the forefront of introducing pioneering products using the knowledge of Ayurveda and modern pharmacological research. Nomarks also happens to be India's first mark removal cream. The product with an annual sales of Rs 3.2 million (financial year 2002-03), today leads the category.
