The
[V] on the run contest promises to give you the ride of your life!
All one has to do is get creative and answer why he/she wants to
go on the run? One lucky winner will get to go On the Run with
VJ Purab and Channel [V]. Participants can email their answer with
a snap and personal details to vrun@vindia.com.
[V] On the Run travels to unconventional locales across
the country and explores the unknown. Viva girl Anushka and VJ Purab
will be taking this wild, crazy and fun journey with some artists
and musicians and one Channel [V] viewer who has convinced them
that she needs to be a part of this adventure.
Flagging off [V] On the Run, Channel [V] head honcho Amar
K Deb said, "Simply put... it's a road trip on steroids! Completely
mad, wacky and completely on the run! It's place-centric, people
centric and it's absolutely fun centric. Tune-in and get the rush!"
This unconventional and unpredictable road show [V] on the Run will
go on air in March 2004.
Love
is surely in the air with Valentines Day just around the corner.
And of course, Channel [V] has weaved something around that too.
Well, Channel [V] in collaboration with Idea Cellular service comes
to the rescue of all those tongue-tied, goofy-eyed lovers with the
'Valentine ka Pyaara IDEA Contest.'
All one has to do is pen their feelings along with their and their
love interests' personal details and let the channel's official
Cupid couple VJs Purab and Kim do the rest. The most whacky, creative
and mushy messages will be read on PO[V]. And it doesn't
end just there... 10 lucky couples will be set up by the VJs on
a romantic Valentine dinner date. Wait... there's more... one of
the lucky winners will get a chance to go to the exotic country
of Malaysia with his/her Valentine. Participants can enter the contest
by SMSing Love to 7827.
The
buck doesn't stop here. Channel [V] is giving viewers a chance to
see pop star Bryan Adams live in Delhi on 7 February and in Bangalore
on 8 February. And this one is a cake walk. All one needs to do
is answer the question - 'Out of the songs Summer of 69,
It's getting hot in Here and Dekko Baarish Ho Rahi Hai,
which one has been sung by Bryan Adams?' Well... does anyone
even need to think too much on that one?
