HSBC Equity Fund received the Open-ended Equity Diversified Fund
award while HDFC Prudence Fund bagged the Open-ended Balanced Fund
award.
Actor and model, Perizaad Zorabian hosted the awards ceremony while
ace choreographers Bosco and Ceaser delighted the audiences with
a dance performance.
SEBI chairman G N Bajpai was the Guest of Honour and a special
address was made by former Finance Minister Jaswant Singh. The awards
recognised excellence in the Mutual Fund industry across eight categories.
The attendees comprised the big names in the business industry,
including BNP Paribas chief executive and country manager Frederic
Amoudru, HSBC Securities and Capital vice chairman Naina Kidwai,
Deutsche Asset management CEO Sandeep Dasgupta and Centurion Bank
CFO V Sukumar.
