NEW DELHI: Prashant Shivram, ex-vice president of communications consultancy Hanmer & Partners, has launched his own venture - Zephyr Communications.

Zephyr, positioned as global PR solutions company, will provide Indian companies credibility support solutions in India, US, Europe and Asia Pacific.

Head-quartered in Mumbai, Zephyr will follow a 'network partners model', tying up on revenue sharing basis with specialists in media relations, investor relations and brand building in India and international markets.

On Zephyr’s operations, Shivram said, "With Indian businesses going global, there is a need to invest in credibility programs which generate business results in global markets. Every Indian company may not have the 'big ticket budgets' to hire an MNC agency. Zephyr works closely with Clients to understand which key stakeholders have an influence on 80 per cent of the business revenues. This approach enables Zephyr to build 'credibility programs' which maximise return on investments faster and more efficiently than random 'hit them all' blitzkrieg campaigns."

To enable implementation of focused 'credibility programs', Zephyr provides clients with a 'dedicated hub' concept. Zephyr also has a strategic alliance with Netscribes India to provide clients with strategic 'knowledge support solutions'.

According to Shivram, some of the advantages of Zephyr’s service include - focus of campaign revolving around 'core credibility influencers', single point interface for the 'Core' credibility, program strategic planning hub out of India – complete control on corporate reputation and messaging, cost savings – up to 50 per cent vis-à-vis hiring an MNC agency abroad and dedicated hub concept – resources exclusively service clients 24*7.

Shivram, who left Hanmer & Partners last month, has worked with Clea Public Relations and Genesis PR. During his stint as vice-president at Hanmer, he was responsible for co-managing the operations of the firm with a team of thirty people and fifteen high end client account relationships.
